Each year, PSARA Technologies gives back to the community by donating a portion of its profits to local charities. In 2012, PSARA assisted two organizations--St. Vincent de Paul and St. Joseph Home by donating 5% of the 2012 profits.
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a nonprofit organization that cares for those in need throughout Cincinnati and Hamilton County. They provide essentials of food or utilities, and maintain seven thrift stores that supply furniture, clothing, and household items. Food is supplied by seven food pantries. They also operate southwest Ohio’s only Charitable Pharmacy. This past Christmas, PSARA sponsored a family of seven--including a single mother and her six children--through the Society's Adopt-a-Family program. PSARA purchased household gifts such as bedding and dinnerware as well as toys and clothing for the children, wrapped them up, and delivered them to the Society the week before Christmas. St. Vincent's de Paul's executive director, Ms. Liz Carter, expressed her gratitude on behalf of the family saying, “Together we can make a difference in the lives of our neighbors.”
St. Joseph Home is located a few minutes away from PSARA's Cincinnati office in Sharonville, Ohio. This organization is the only agency in Hamilton County that provides residential and respite programs for individuals of all ages who are non-ambulatory, non-verbal, and medically fragile. St. Joseph Home is a nonprofit ministry of the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati. Residents of the Home are given individual attention and care for medical, social, educational, and spiritual development. PSARA donated gift cards to area restaurants and entertainment venues so that residents can enjoy outings away from the Home.
