Storm Water Pollution Control Measures

The goal of any storm water permit program is to protect waters of the state from pollutants carried in storm water drainage. PSARA helps facilities manage their storm water runoff and minimize pollutant discharges from the site. We have the experience and capabilities to design storm water diversion systems, install engineering controls, and manage runoff. Our engineering staff can assist with the design of the following pollution prevention measures:

  • Site grading
  • Silt fences
  • Curbing/catch basins
  • Oil interceptors
  • Oil/water separators
  • Vegetated swales (bioswales)
  • Storm water detention ponds
