Oil Spill Prevention & Response

Facilities that handle oil above certain thresholds are required to comply with the oil pollution prevention regulations under 40 CFR Part 112. PSARA project engineers work with clients to prevent and/or contain discharges from oil storage facilities to satisfy these requirements. We offer the following services:

• Conduct facility inspections
• Design secondary containment for aboveground storage tanks
• Design storm water diversion systems
• Train oil-handling personnel in spill prevention and response

In the event of a release of oil, PSARA provides 24-hr emergency response capabilities and can mobilize one of our trailer-mounted water treatment systems to handle most onsite water treatment needs.
