On March 19, Peg Chandler and Judy Hessling, both PSARA principals, attended the SBE Program Outreach-Professional Services Firms One-on-One Networking event hosted by the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSDGC). The event was designed to provide local small businesses an opportunity to meet with existing contractors as well as MSDGC and Greater Cincinnati Water Works (GCWW) staff. The event was attended by more than 50 small businesses offering a wide range of professional services, such as engineering, marketing, communications, community outreach, and accounting. Twenty-five large businesses were represented along with several MSDGC and GCWW divisions. Each small business was scheduled for 16 one-on-one sessions, limited to 8 minutes each. The day flew by as small businesses rotated through their meetings, presenting an overview of their capabilities and discussing possible contracting and partnering opportunities.
The Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Program at MSDGC aspires to increase the participation of small businesses in all aspects of MSDGC contracting. PSARA Technologies meets all of the requirements of a small business enterprise under MSDGC's program and has previous MSDGC contracting experience. Registered SBEs can help prime contractors meet their SBE subcontracting goals. If your firm is interested in partnering with PSARA on an existing or future Master Services Agreement with MSDGC in the areas of environmental, health or safety management, please do not hesitate to contact Peg at machandler@psara.com.
