Director of Environmental Compliance

Jason is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) with 25 years of experience in environmental health and safety management at environmentally impaired sites. Jason conducts industrial hygiene sampling as well as asbestos and mold inspections at a wide variety of sites and structures; he is currently licensed in six states as an asbestos inspector and management planner. As Director of Environmental Compliance, Jason provides environmental management support to manufacturers, including electronic, pharmaceutical, and food manufacturers.

Provided critical support during the 2001 anthrax response at the Hart Senate Office Building. Assisted with decontamination chamber setup, chlorine dioxide treatment, item retrieval, emergency response, and FBI-coordinated mail processing. Supported testing and safe handling of contaminated materials.

Performed lead wipe sampling and industrial hygiene monitoring at a secure indoor shooting range within a Federal building. PSARA was contracted by on behalf of the U.S. Government to verify effectiveness of lead cleanup efforts and conduct exposure monitoring of armed personnel during live fire exercises.

Ongoing asbestos inspection program for a multi-site retail client across Ohio. Services include annual and follow-up inspections, PCM air sampling, and documentation. When issues are identified, PSARA coordinates abatement bids and provides oversight through project completion.

Worker Exposure Assessment – Electronic Waste Recycling Facility

Conducted multi-day worker exposure assessment for nuisance dust, metal fumes, mercury, and noise at an electronic components recycling facility. Evaluated multiple tasks and high-risk areas using air sampling and dosimetry. Findings led to updated PPE use, including respiratory protection in select zones.
