Proposed Changes to the Ohio BUSTR Rule


The Ohio Fire Marshal’s Bureau of Underground Storage Tank Regulations (BUSTR) is coming up on its five-year review date of March 15, 2017, by which time it must complete a detailed review and analysis of all of its rules for possible revision and amendment. In order to meet this deadline, BUSTR must file the amended rules by November 30, 2016. The proposed amended rules incorporate the new federal underground storage tank (UST) regulations that were issued by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and came into effect in October 2015.
